Pflugerville Texas lies fifteen miles north of Austin in northeastern Travis County. It was named for a German immigrant, Henry Pfluger, who brought his family to the area in 1849. Although Pflugerville is a small town, its location adjacent to Austin makes it very popular with people who want to be close to the city but still removed.
