Located about 12 miles northwest of Austin, Lake Travis is the largest of the seven reservoir lakes known as the Highland Lakes in central Texas. Abundant with many forms of recreation, Lake Travis is surrounded by many parks, marinas, country clubs, and golf communities. Among the parks along the lake is the Travis County park Hippy Hollow, the only clothing-optional public park in Texas. Not only is there a lot to do in and around Lake Travis, but the real estate is some of the most sought after property in Austin.
